What I Am Learning
There are some things I am learning nowadays that are profound and I feel I ought to share. They are not new things, but I realise that they are things that we easily forget. It’s like a cool glass of water on a hot day! You may have taken several drinks of water before, but when you get a really cold glass of water on a hot day, coming out of the sun, you doubly appreciate that water.
Consistency
Consistency matters in God. Be consistent in prayer. Never relent. Even one day away from prayer sets you back. Keep at it. Sweat it out. Even when you don’t feel like or it’s not convenient. Build strength, stamina and staying power in the place of prayer.
No Condemnation
There is no condemnation in Christ Jesus. Even if you make mistakes, confess them. Let the accuser try, but he can’t catch you. God always forgives when we ask Him. Don’t let accusations and guilt feelings keep you away from God. The Father’s arms are always open. Let your guilt push you back to God.
You Are A Son
We are God’s children, indeed we are His sons (whether male or female). Don’t let anyone put you down. You are God’s special child. He chose you. Jesus sacrificed His life for you. You are precious. Important. Special.
Show God’s Glory
You are to show forth His glory. You are His vessel to show forth His glory in your life. Every part of it is to glorify Him. We are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should do.
The Word of God
The Word of God is eternal. It does not fade, it does not change. It does not pass away. Every word that God says comes to pass. It is all a matter of time.
Prophecy
Prophecy is to be birthed through prayer. When you have a prophetic word or a promise of God, you make it come to pass by praying it into being. You need to pray it and do warfare for it. You engage the spiritual to bring it to the natural. You don’t receive the word and file it away. Call it forth.
God Loves Us
God loves us. And He is always working in the background for our good. He moves things like a jigsaw puzzle getting solved. Piece by piece. We can’t always know the end that He has in mind, but He promises that it will lead a good end. He sees everything as the Alpha and Omega. The perfect picture will come to us in His time. We can rest in His love, and in His everlasting arms.
Hallelujah!!!
